By combining the basic unit with a variety of options, the LM108A can become an optical pickup development system and a disc testing and inspection system supporting all types of optical pickups and discs.
The basic unit is configured of a stage, spindle motor, disc clamp, tilt stage for mounting optical pickups, and a power supply for the mechanisms.
Eliminates the need for customers to design or create basic units, and dramatically improves the efficiency of experiments and development.

The LG100A is a write signal generator for recordable DVDs, containing a clock generator. It is used together with the LM330A/LM108A disc test system and the LB100 series optical pickup adjuster.
A maximum of five light pulse values can be controlled, with four signal outputs, D1, D2, D3 and D4. It generates high-speed strategy signals for DVD +/-R, +/-RW and DVD-RAM.
The output signals can be selected in a range of patterns, including single and random patterns. 32 user-definable operation modes can be selected. The delay time for the rising edge and falling edge of pulses can also be set to any value.

Generates high-speed strategy signals for discs including 16xDVD +/-R, +/-RW and 16xDVD-RAM. |
PECL and NECL can be selected for the output pulse. |
Generates any clock signal in a wide band, from 1 to 540 MHz. |
The frequency band in which the channel clock operates can be selected (If specified upon purchase). |
The lag value for one step can be set (If specified upon purchase). |
